Ever wanted to make dumplings? Jazz up some steamed broccolini? Or roast an easy weeknight chicken dinner? Jane will show you how in the newly formed cooking school- @arthurslonglunch. A collaboration with photographer and studio owner @bookstudio3, Helen Coetzee.
Jane and Helen have been friends for many years and happily join forces professionally.
Arthurs’ Long Lunch is a natural progression and a melding of their shared passion for creating, sharing, capturing and eating delicious food.
We hope you are inspired to cook, and that these simple, tasty recipes bring smiles and contentment to your table at home.
The Arthurs have a family tradition of sharing good times, good food and great conversations over the course of a long lunch. This is always accompanied with music and laughter.
We are bringing some of these traditions to the table at Studio3.
We aim to inspire, to teach and to show you how to cook simple and delicious food.

Bone broths and Soup Class $95 per person
Learn how to make a chicken bone broth, then turn it into a roasted tomato and Tarragon soup.
Saturday 2nd June, 11.30 for 12pm start – till approx 2 pm.
Saturday 14TH July, 11.30 for 12pm start – till approx 2 pm.

I never knew cooking could be such fun. It’s nice to be inspired to cook instead of cooking for the function of eating a well balanced meal. Love all the flavours and the meals are all so easy to make.
Arthurs’ Long Lunch with Helen and Jane in Studio 3 was the most wonderful cooking class I have ever been to. I have done so many cooking classes and never cooked the dish because it was too hard when I got home.
This was the one time, I could actually cook everything on the recipe book. It exceeded my expectations because you learn how to cook 5-star fine dining meals which are quick, easy, cheap and fun.
I met some fantastic people who all had the intent of having fun while learning. I am just so happy that I can cook the whole family professional food and also have a signature dish to take to friends/family celebrations.
Miss Jane has proven her culinary acrobatic self to me several times since we met. But the lesson followed by the amazing meal was something I can’t wait to do all again. Thanks for sharing some trade secrets and enabling me to become the cook I always wanted to be. Helen put on a great space and the setting was super delightful!
